Round robin calculator — every parlay combo, every payout
Build a round robin from 3 to 10 selections and see exact payouts on every combination. Pair with the parlay calculator for full bet-slip math.
How a round robin works
A round robin generates every parlay of a given size from a pool of selections. From 4 picks you get six 2-team parlays. From 5 picks you can make ten 3-team parlays.
Each parlay is wagered separately. If 3 of 4 picks hit, three of your six 2-team parlays cash and three lose. You're not all-or-nothing like a single 4-team parlay would be.
Math behind the combos
The number of parlays = C(n, k) where n is selections and k is parlay size. C(5,3) = 10. C(6,3) = 20. C(10,4) = 210.
Stake is per-parlay — a 6-parlay round robin at $10 each costs $60 total. Each parlay pays at its own combined decimal odds.
When round robins make sense
Lower variance than a single big parlay. Useful when you have a set of moderately-priced selections (+EV singles often work as a round robin set).
Bad fit when you have one or two clear standouts and several question marks — concentration would serve you better.
Worst fit: pure entertainment SGPs at -EV prices. Round-robining -EV singles compounds your loss across many parlays.
Frequently asked questions
What is a round robin bet?
A round robin is a set of parlays generated from a larger group of selections. From 4 picks you can make six 2-team parlays, four 3-team parlays, and one 4-team parlay — bet them all and any subset of winners produces a payout.
How many parlays are in a round robin?
C(n, k) where n is total selections and k is parlay size. A 4-pick / 2-team round robin = 6 parlays. A 5-pick / 3-team = 10 parlays. A 6-pick / 3-team = 20 parlays.
Is a round robin better than a straight parlay?
Round robins survive a single loss (the unaffected parlays still cash) but accept lower upside than a single full parlay. Same EV in expectation; lower variance.
How is round-robin payout calculated?
Each parlay in the set pays independently. Total payout = sum of every winning parlay. The calculator multiplies decimal odds per parlay and sums what cashes.
What's the maximum number of legs in a round robin?
Most US books cap round robins at 10 selections, producing up to 1,024 individual parlays. Some books cap lower (8 selections).
