Lamar Jackson out: Tyler Huntley starts Sunday night

Coach Jesse Minter ruled Jackson out Friday with a left ankle injury, and Huntley starts at Atlanta (Hensley). Huntley went 2-0 as a fill-in starter last season. He projects for 11.7 points, QB28, against a defense that allows the 10th most quarterback points. That is a two-quarterback league start, not a one-quarterback league start. In the Huntley or Aaron Rodgers call, Rodgers projects for 14.6.

The rest of Baltimore holds up better. Derrick Henry is RB12 at 15.1, though Atlanta allows only the 27th most running back points. Zay Flowers is WR13 at 14.6 against a defense that allows the 6th most receiver points. Ravens at Falcons is the 8:20 PM ET game, the last kickoff of Sunday.

Barkley, Smith and Brown out: the Eagles in London

Barkley (hamstring), Smith (hamstring) and Brown (ankle) were all ruled out for Jacksonville, along with center Drew Kendall (McManus). Dallas Goedert returns at tight end.

Running back. Will Shipley is first on Sleeper's Philadelphia depth chart, with Dameon Pierce second. Shipley projects for 9.4, RB29, and Pierce for 3.9. Jacksonville allows the 30th most running back points, the third fewest in the league, so this is a thin start. Compare him with the Treveyon Henderson or Shipley call before you use him.

Receiver. Sleeper's order is Dontayvion Wicks, Makai Lemon, then Darius Cooper. They project for 9.4 (WR34), 8.0 (WR41) and 5.6 (WR53), against a defense that allows the 11th most receiver points. Wicks hurt his hamstring in Thursday's practice, was limited Friday and carries no designation (Sirianni, via McManus). Goedert is TE9 at 10.3, and Jacksonville allows the 21st most tight end points. Jalen Hurts appeared on Friday's report with a calf injury and has no designation. He is QB18 at 15.1.

This game kicks off at 9:30 AM ET Sunday, before every other Sunday game. Set Eagles and Jaguars players first.

Breece Hall and Adonai Mitchell out: the Jets

Hall misses his second straight game and Mitchell his third (Cimini). Braelon Allen starts again. He ran a career-high 14 times for 59 yards against the Bears and was the Jets' only ball carrier in that game. He projects for 15.2, RB11, and Cleveland allows the 26th most running back points. Cleveland has also ruled out defensive tackles Mason Graham and Mike Hall Jr. (ESPN). Isaiah Davis, second on Sleeper's depth chart, projects for 2.9.

At receiver, Garrett Wilson is WR10 at 16.3. Isaiah Williams is next on Sleeper's depth chart, but his 6.0 projection, WR51, makes him a deep league option only. The Jeanty or Allen call is the one to check if you roster both backs.

Jayden Daniels back, Stefon Diggs out: the Commanders

Daniels starts against the Giants, wearing a brace on his non-throwing elbow, and Diggs is out with a hamstring injury (Keim). Daniels is QB5 at 18.1, and New York allows the 9th most quarterback points. See the Drake Maye or Daniels call.

Diggs leads Washington with 18 catches. Terry McLaurin is first on Sleeper's depth chart but listed Questionable with his own hamstring injury. Dan Quinn said McLaurin "looked really good" Friday but did not commit to him playing. McLaurin projects for 12.9, WR17. Rookie Antonio Williams is second on Sleeper's depth chart and has no Week 5 projection on our board, so we print no number for him.

Michael Pittman Jr. out: the Steelers

Pittman aggravated a foot injury and will likely miss multiple weeks, coach Mike McCarthy said (Pryor). Sleeper puts Roman Wilson second behind DK Metcalf. Wilson projects for 9.4, WR32, and Metcalf for 12.5, WR19. Indianapolis allows the 7th most receiver points. The Wicks or Wilson call puts both injury replacements side by side, and they project for the same 9.4.

Kyle Monangai out: D'Andre Swift leads the Bears

Ben Johnson ruled Monangai out with a turf toe that is "week-to-week" (Cronin). D'Andre Swift is RB4 at 18.5, against a Green Bay defense that allows the 5th most running back points. Roschon Johnson, second on Sleeper's chart, has no Week 5 projection on our board. Caleb Williams is Questionable with a hamstring, and Tyson Bagent is expected to start his second straight game. Bagent is QB24 at 13.5.

Questionable, and when you will know

  • Ashton Jeanty, Raiders. Questionable with ankle and foot injuries; he did not practice Friday (McFadden). Jeanty projects for 16.0, RB9, at New England, which allows the 21st most running back points. Mike Washington is second on Sleeper's depth chart and has no Week 5 projection. Kickoff is 1:00 PM ET, so inactives come at 11:30 AM ET.
  • Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, Vikings. Both Questionable. Kevin O'Connell said their status will not be decided until Sunday morning (Seifert). Jefferson projects for 17.0, WR6, and Addison for 9.5, WR31. New Orleans allows the 24th most receiver points. See the Drake London or Jefferson call.
  • Malik Nabers, Cam Skattebo and Isaiah Likely, Giants. All three were full participants Friday and are expected to play (Raanan). Sleeper lists none of them. Nabers is WR15 at 13.3 against a Washington defense that allows the 2nd most receiver points. Skattebo is RB19 at 11.8, and Likely is TE8 at 10.6, with Washington allowing the 6th most tight end points. See the Likely or Mark Andrews call.
  • Jeremiyah Love, Cardinals. "Trending well" to play after aggravating his ankle, said Mike LaFleur (Weinfuss). Sleeper lists no designation. Love is RB17 at 12.9 against Detroit, which allows the 19th most running back points. Kickoff is 4:25 PM ET. See the Jeanty or Love call.

What to do Sunday morning

  1. Set Eagles and Jaguars players by 9:30 AM ET.
  2. Check the 1:00 PM ET inactives at 11:30 AM ET for Jeanty, Jefferson, Addison and McLaurin. If one of them sits, the replacement should come from a 4:05 PM or later game, because every 1:00 PM player is fixed at kickoff.
  3. Recheck the injury report and the Week 5 start or sit calls once inactives post. For the earlier view of these calls, see Week 5 start em sit em.
