How the grade is calculated
- Every player sits on one market board: consensus draft-market ADP sets the order, with sportsbook player markets shown as an overlay where they exist (full method on the rankings page).
- Your league size and slot turn each round into an overall snake-order pick number, so slot 1 and slot 12 in the same round are graded against different market prices.
- Overall pick number minus the market's pick number is your raw picks of value. Positive is value; negative is a reach.
- Reaches are then charged only their real opportunity cost: at slot 1 in a 12-team league your next turn is 23 picks later in round 1, so a player the market takes before that turn costs you nothing and grades as market price. You are only charged the picks you could actually have waited.
- Market-price band: anything inside 0.5 of a round — ±6 picks at 12 teams — is called market price rather than dressed up as an edge.
- Pick value to points: dead even with the market is 74/100, and each full round of average value per pick moves the score 9 points, in either direction. One round is 12 picks at your league size, so at 12 teams every pick of average value is worth 0.75 points.
- Letter cutoffs (score out of 100): A 92+, A- 86+, B+ 80+, B 74+, B- 68+, C+ 62+, C 55+, C- 48+, D 40+, F below 40.
- Players no market covers at all are listed and excluded rather than estimated, and the card notes how many of your picks also carry sportsbook markets.

How does the draft grader work?
Add the players you drafted and the round you took them in, then tell us your league size and draft slot. We convert every pick into its overall snake-order pick number and compare that number against where the market drafts the player — consensus ADP, or the market board, with sportsbook prices layered on where they exist. Taking a player later than the market does is value; taking him earlier is a reach, but only for as many picks as you could actually have waited — if the market drafts him before your next turn, the pick costs you nothing. The average gap across your picks becomes the grade.
How do I grade my fantasy draft?
To grade my fantasy draft the honest way, you need something outside your own opinion to measure against. Set your league size and slot, add each player and the round you took him, and the grader lines your roster up against the market board: consensus ADP sets the order and sportsbook prices are layered on where the books post them. Every pick comes back with a picks-of-value delta, and the average becomes an A to F grade with your best value pick and biggest reach called out.
Is this a mock draft grader?
It works as a mock draft grader and as a real one, because it does not care where the picks came from. Paste in a mock draft to test a strategy before your league drafts, or your finished real roster to see how you actually did. Either way the grade compares your overall pick numbers against what the drafting and betting markets say each player is worth.
What are vegas-backed fantasy rankings?
Rankings built from betting markets rather than opinion. Where sportsbooks price a prop we juice-adjust the price, convert it into a projected stat total, and score it with fantasy scoring. How do betting odds project fantasy points?
Each prop line is the market's expected total for a stat, so it converts directly into fantasy points: a 62.5 receiving yards line is 6.25 points, a 4.5 receptions line is another 4.5 in PPR, and a touchdown price converts through its fair probability. Summing a player's priced markets gives a market-implied projection.
Do I need an account?
No. The draft grader is free and needs no account or sign-in. Nothing you enter is stored on our servers — the grade is computed in your browser from the ranked pool, and the shareable card is drawn in your browser too.
