Common questions

  • What is the Week 5 fantasy football trade value chart?

Every player the weekly market prices well enough to value, ranked by rest-of-season fantasy points above a replacement starter at his position, from Week 6 through Week 17. Jahmyr Gibbs is first at 191.

  • Where do the values come from?

From the market, not from an expert. Each player's points per game is the median of the market-based fantasy points we froze before each week's first kickoff, Weeks 3, 4, 5. A replacement-level starter's points are subtracted, and the rest is multiplied by his games left with his bye taken out.

  • How do I use a trade value chart?

Add up the values on each side of a trade. The side with the bigger total gets more rest-of-season points above replacement. A player worth zero is one you could replace from waivers, so he adds nothing to a package. The trade analyzer does the adding for you and can check the deal against your own lineup.

  • Is this PPR?

Yes. Values are in PPR scoring. A half-PPR or standard league moves pass catchers down a little, but the order at the top changes very little.

  • Why is a player missing?

He needs market prices in at least two weeks to have a rate. Players on injured reserve, the PUP list or the non-football list are left out because the market prices no game they miss, and kickers and defenses are not valued.
