Fantasy football wide receiver rankings

84 wide receivers, ordered by where drafters are taking them in PPR scoring.

Updated Oct 7, 2026 at 11:36 PM ET

PPR WR: drafters are taking Puka Nacua first on the board, ahead of the other 83 wide receivers ranked here. 73 of these wide receivers already carry a live player market, and those figures come from the market rather than a draft-order guess.

Wide receiver is the position reception scoring changes most and the position leagues start the most of, so the usable part of a receiver list runs far deeper than a quarterback or tight end list.

Week 5 questions

  • Who is the WR1 in Week 5?

Puka Nacua (vs. BUF) is the WR1 for Week 5 at 21.3 PPR points, the fantasy points his player markets imply. Amon-Ra St. Brown is WR2 at 20.5 and Jaxon Smith-Njigba is WR3 at 20.1.

  • Which WR has the best matchup in Week 5?

Among the top 30 WRs on the Week 5 market board, Michael Wilson has the softest matchup: the Lions allow the most WR fantasy points per game, 2025 and 2026 blended. The market projection has him WR9 for Week 5 at 15.8 points.

What changes in this view

Wide receivers are the position PPR scoring changes most. A point per catch rewards volume, so a receiver who catches eight short passes can out-score one who catches three long ones, and most default leagues use PPR or half-PPR.

This view keeps only wide receivers and re-numbers them 1 upward in PPR scoring. Leagues also start more receivers than any other position, so the useful part of this list runs much deeper than the quarterback or tight end lists.

How to draft wide receivers this season

A point per catch pays volume, and volume is what wide receivers produce. A receiver who catches eight short passes scores more in PPR than one who catches three long ones for the same yardage, which is why the PPR order of this list differs noticeably from the standard order rather than being the same names shuffled. Most default leagues use PPR or half PPR, so PPR is the order this board opens in.

Receiver is also the position leagues start the most of. Between the dedicated receiver slots and the flex slot, a twelve team league is usually starting thirty to forty receivers every week, which means the useful part of this list runs deep. Where a quarterback board stops being interesting after fifteen names and a tight end board after about ten, a receiver board is still making real distinctions at sixty.

That depth changes how you should read a small difference in pick number. Two receivers half a round apart in the middle of this list are much closer to interchangeable than two running backs half a round apart, because the receiver slope is gentler. The tier column is the faster way to see that: it tells you whether the gap you are looking at is a real step down or just list order.

Where the tier breaks fall, and what they mean

Receiver tiers are long, and that is correct rather than lazy. A long tier means the draft market genuinely cannot separate those names, so inside one you should take the player whose situation you prefer and not agonise over our ordering. The breaks that matter most are the first two, where full time targets separate from part time ones.

  1. Tier 1 (4 players): Puka Nacua, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, CeeDee Lamb
  2. Tier 2 (5 players): Chris Olave, Drake London, Nico Collins, Garrett Wilson, Michael Wilson
  3. Tier 3 (7 players): Davante Adams, Zay Flowers, George Pickens, Parker Washington, Malik Nabers, Josh Downs, Christian Watson
  4. Tier 4 (3 players): Stefon Diggs, Matthew Golden, Jaylen Waddle
  5. Tier 5 (7 players): Luther Burden III, Jameson Williams, Carnell Tate, Romeo Doubs, DK Metcalf, Mike Evans, Denzel Boston
