With catches worth zero, the board tilts back towards running backs who carry the ball near the goal line and towards receivers who score rather than merely catch. Third down backs lose the block of points PPR hands them, and high volume short target receivers lose part of theirs.

It is also the highest variance of the three formats, because touchdowns are less predictable week to week than receptions. That argues for weighting certainty of workload a little more heavily here than you would in PPR.
