Our start or sit record
Every call we have published, and how many of them were right.
- Calls published
- 4,924
- Graded
- 3,916
- Right
- 2,267
- Hit rate, published calls
- 57.9%
That is 2,267 right out of 3,916 graded calls, counted across the 4,924 calls we published. Published means the pair got a page you could have found and followed; it is the only set that can fairly be called our record.
The builder also prices pairs that never clear the bar for a page. Counting every pair it priced this season, published or not, the ledger reads 2,879 right of 5,004 graded pairs (57.5%). Those pairs were never shown to anyone, so they are not the record and the number above does not include them.
369 of the 3,916 graded calls above were settled by a player who did not take a snap. Once a week's games are over, a player with no stat line scored zero, and the call is graded against that zero whichever side he was on. Those results are real and they stay counted. What they do not do is test the comparison we published.
How this is counted
- A call counts the moment it is published, not when it turns out well. Nothing is added to this page after the fact.
- A call locks when the earlier of the two games kicks off, and the pick is never edited afterwards. If a grade is ever corrected, the call says so on its own page and is listed under corrections below.
- A call is right when the player we said to start outscored the other one in your scoring format. A tie counts as neither.
- The hit rate reads "nothing graded yet" rather than 0 percent until a real call has been graded, because a percentage of nothing is not a number.
- A pair is only published when both players have a market-based projection. Until Week 2 2026 one priced player was enough, and 140 of the 180 graded Week 1 calls were made that way, comparing a real projection against a blank. Those stay in the counts exactly as they were made; the rule changed for what goes out from here.
Every graded call above is a real one, wins and misses together.
Corrections
Week 1 was first graded from an incomplete box score feed. Every graded call was checked again against Sleeper's official week stats, and these are the calls on this record whose result changed. The counts above already include them. Calls the builder computed but never published are corrected in the ledger, not here: a note about a pick nobody could read is not a correction to anything public.
