OddsJam popularised +EV betting for a lot of people, and the tool is genuinely capable. Our argument isn't that it's bad — it's that the price only makes sense at a bankroll and bet volume most people reading this don't have.
At $100 a month with $50 average stakes, you need roughly 40 bets a month at a true +5% edge just to break even on the software before you've made a dollar. Below that volume, the subscription is your biggest negative-EV bet of the month.

A longer track record as a company
OddsJam has been shipping since well before us, with a bigger team and years of iteration behind their data pipeline. That maturity is worth something and we're not going to pretend otherwise.
More international and exchange books
Our coverage is US-first. If you bet into European books, Asian handicap markets, or exchanges outside Betfair, their book list is deeper than ours.
Push and mobile alerts
They have mature push notification infrastructure with tight latency. Our alerting is lighter — good for a board you check, weaker if your strategy depends on being first within seconds.
Where the free version is genuinely enough
The daily loop for most +EV bettors is: get a fair price, compare it against the books you have accounts at, size the bet, log it, and check your CLV later. All five of those are free here.

Why Parlae is free — and how we eat
We make money from sportsbook referral links. If you sign up to a book through Parlae, that book may pay us. You never pay us anything, and there is no paid tier to upsell you into.
The obvious risk with that model is sponsor-ordered rankings. So we constrain ourselves in public: odds tables and +EV rows are sorted by price only — payout fields are explicitly excluded from every sort comparator, and a golden test in our codebase fails the build if that ever changes.
And every pick our engine fires is captured before the game and graded afterwards at the recommended price, wins and losses both, on our public track record page. If the model is bad, you'll see it there before we tell you.
FAQ
Is Parlae really free?
Yes. Every tool — the odds board, the +EV scanner, the calculators, the tracker, the graded record — is open with no account and no card. There is no paid tier, so there is nothing to upgrade to.
How does Parlae find +EV bets?
We build a fair price from sharp markets (Pinnacle, Betfair Exchange) and real-money prediction markets (Kalshi, Polymarket), strip the vig using multiplicative and power devig methods, and take the more conservative of the two. That fair price is compared to every US book we monitor; anything priced longer than fair is flagged with its edge percentage.
What's the catch?
We earn sportsbook referral commissions when someone signs up through our links. You never pay us. To keep that from biasing what you see, odds and +EV rows are sorted by price only — payout fields are excluded from the sort comparator and a test in our build fails if that changes.
Should I still pay for OddsJam?
