An alternative to Outlier
Where Parlae does the same job without a subscription, and where Outlier is genuinely better.
Parlae does the everyday jobs — comparing prices, flagging bets priced better than they should be, tracking results — with no subscription. Outlier is a paid research app and stays ahead on player props.
Open the value boardOutlier's strength is research: projections and matchup context sitting next to every player number. If digging into props is the part of betting you enjoy, that is a fair thing to pay for.
Any subscription costs the same every month whether you bet or not: at $100 a month with $50 bets, roughly 40 bets a month at prices about 5% better than they should be would only cover the fee.

What Outlier does better
- Prop research depth
- Their player-prop tooling — projections, usage context, matchup filtering — is further along than ours. If prop research is the core of how you bet, that gap is real.
- A finished mobile app
- Outlier ships a native app; we are a responsive website. For checking a number on your phone while a game is running, theirs is the better experience.
Common questions
How does Parlae find prices worth betting?
We work out what a bet is really worth (its fair odds) from the sharpest markets available, remove the sportsbook's cut, and keep the more cautious of two standard estimates. Any book paying noticeably better than that number gets flagged, with the size of the gap shown.
