Kentucky launched retail sports betting on September 7, 2023 and mobile on September 28, 2023. Mobile licenses are tied to Kentucky's licensed racetracks (Churchill Downs, Keeneland, Red Mile, etc.).
All major national operators are live including bet365, which has used Kentucky as one of its early US states.
Minimum age is 18, one of only a handful of states with that threshold. Tax rate is 14.25% online and 9.75% retail.
