Louisiana voters approved a parish-by-parish sports betting referendum in 2020, with 55 of 64 parishes voting yes. Retail launched in October 2021 and mobile in January 2022.
Mobile wagering is only available in approved parishes. Most major operators are live including DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, ESPN BET, and Fanatics.
Minimum age is 21. Tax rate is 15% online and 10% retail.
