Rhode Island launched retail sports betting in November 2018 and mobile in September 2019. The mobile market is exclusively operated by FanDuel under a state lottery contract since 2024 (previously William Hill / Caesars).

Retail sportsbooks operate at Bally's Twin River and Bally's Tiverton. Minimum age is 18 for mobile and retail wagering.

Tax rate is 51%, matching New Hampshire as one of the highest revenue-share models in the US.
