Tennessee launched mobile sports betting in November 2020. The state has no commercial or tribal casinos, making it the first US state with a mobile-only market.

Tennessee taxes 1.85% of total handle (since July 2023) instead of taxing operator revenue — an unusual model that effectively forces operators to maintain a minimum hold percentage.
