What changes in this view
A team defense scores for sacks, takeaways, return touchdowns and for holding the other side down, which makes it the least predictable slot on a fantasy roster. Almost every defense is drafted in the last two rounds, so the useful question is not which is best but which is still there.
This view keeps only team defenses and re-numbers them 1 upward in the order drafters are taking them. When the pool below is shallow, it is because the draft market has not published defenses yet, and we would rather show you that than rank sixteen names we invented.
