This desk compares what the player markets project for a player against what the draft room pays, and the draft room has gone quiet for the season. Live mock drafts stop once the games start, so the consensus pick numbers this page needs on the other side of the comparison no longer have a sample big enough to trust. The player markets still project 19 players, and those projections now set the order on the main board.
Nothing else we hold can take the draft room's place here. The other side has to be what the leagues themselves are doing with a player, and we hold no rostered or started percentage for any league. Last week's snap and target share cannot stand in: they record what already happened, and the gap between a price and a record is what a price is, not a disagreement between two markets.

A fade is one thing: the drafting room rating a player better, at his own position, than his market-based projection ranks him, outside the first three rounds, outside the top two tiers and by three or more places. It is never a bust call. The desk fills again the day the drafting market does.
