How Daily Legends MLB works
Roll and pick
Twelve rounds, each rolling a kind of legend: an era, a field, or both. Take one who fits and put them anywhere on the diamond, at designated hitter or in the rotation. Three rerolls.
Fit decides the rating
Every legend has seven made-up ratings: contact, power, eye, speed, fielding, arm and pitching. Each spot weighs them its own way, so a slugger plays first base and a big arm takes the ball every fifth day.
Play the season
162 games against 29 history teams, then the top four in each league play a best of five Division Series, a best of seven League Championship Series and the Legends Series. Box scores, the team MVP and a card to share.
The daily twist: the 12 rolls, the 3 rerolls, the schedule and every bit of luck come from one seed that changes at midnight Eastern, the same for everyone. Two players with the same picks get the same season to the last game, so every record today is directly comparable. A new MLB puzzle goes live every day.

Questions
- What is Daily Legends MLB?
- A daily version of Legends Draft MLB. Every day there is one draft for MLB: the same 12 rolls, the same 3 rerolls and the same simulated season for every player. You draft a lineup and a rotation out of history, the season plays at once, and your record is compared with everyone who played that day.
- When does a new puzzle come out?
- At midnight Eastern time, every day. Puzzles are numbered from #1 on October 14, 2026, so the number tells you which day a shared result came from.
- Can I play more than once a day?
- The daily puzzle is one shot per device: your picks save as you make them, and a finished day shows your result. For unlimited runs on fresh rolls, play the Perfect Season on the Legends Draft MLB page.
- How is the percentage of players I beat worked out?
- When you finish, your picks are sent to our server, which plays the same draft and season again from the day's seed. Only a result that comes out exactly the same is counted. The percentage is the share of today's other players whose result was lower than yours, by wins first and then how far the playoff run went.
- What do the squares in a shared result mean?
- One square per pick, in draft order: green for a legend rated 90 or more where you placed them, yellow for the 80s, white below that. A second row shows the playoff series won and lost. They never name a pick, so a shared result does not give away the day's answers.
- How do streaks work?
- Your streak counts the days in a row you have finished the daily puzzle for that sport. It lives in your browser, with no account. Miss a day and a new streak starts with your next puzzle; your best streak stays on the board.
- Is it free?
- Yes. It is a free game with no sign in. The players are famous people from history with made up ratings, and the seasons are simulated.
