What the projection is
The projection is points for Gameweek 7 only, before the captain doubles them. It is 80 percent underlying numbers and 20 percent form. The underlying part multiplies his expected goals and assists per 90 by the minutes he plays per team game and by how many goals the opponent concedes against the league average of 1.47 per team per game, then scores them the way the game does: 4 points a goal for a forward, 5 for a midfielder, 6 for a defender, 3 for any assist, plus the clean sheet, bonus and defensive contribution points his position earns. A double gameweek adds both matches; a blank is zero. Mins is expected minutes, already cut for any doubt the game lists. Hover a fixture for its expected goals and clean sheet chance.
