What the numbers are
Every rank comes from MLB's own Stats API: three seasons of lines projected forward the Marcel way (weighted, pulled toward league average, adjusted for age), valued in 5x5 roto categories (R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG; W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP) over a replacement-level starter. Prospects are ranked by what they did at Triple-A and Double-A against their level and age. Depth charts are the clubs' own. When the 2027 season opens, this section adds weekly two-start pitchers, daily streamers and the waiver wire.
