MrBeast as a golfer: scouting report

MrBeast built the most subscribed channel on YouTube by studying what works and testing ideas relentlessly, from thumbnails to pacing to how each video opens. A golfer with that mindset would be the most prepared player on the course. His course IQ shares the top of his card with his short game. He would know which side of the green to miss on, which pins to leave alone and which shot gives him the best chance to save par.

The short game is where his creativity shows. His videos are built on huge, inventive challenges, including a full scale recreation of Squid Game, and that imagination turns into flop shots, bump and runs and clever recoveries from awkward places. His nerve is solid too. He has staged enormous events for audiences of millions, so a short putt with a crowd watching will not shake him. His putting itself is the shakier part of his scoring game, and his irons are average, so he wins by scrambling rather than by striping it.

Driving is the weakest skill on his card, and The Long Course Championship, with its long carries, is his worst major. The Links Open is his best, a test that rewards creative shotmaking over power. He cofounded Team Trees, a campaign that raised enough to plant twenty million trees, and someone who loves a big outdoor project would enjoy a wild, windswept seaside course. Draft him in the middle rounds as a scrambler, and pair him with a long hitter and a strong putter.
