MrBeast as a soccer player: scouting report

MrBeast plays fullback, the position that rewards a player who simply will not stop. He built his channel from Greenville, North Carolina, and one of his breakthrough videos was him counting to one hundred thousand, a feat of stamina that took most of two days. A fullback runs the length of the flank all match, defending one moment and overlapping the next, and nobody in this pool is more comfortable with an absurd workload.

Dribbling is the best part of his card, so he drives forward with the ball rather than passing it backward, and his pace means he arrives in the final third quickly. His defending is solid enough to cover his flank when the attack breaks down. He organized Team Trees with Mark Rober, a campaign that funded the planting of twenty million trees, and that ability to rally a crowd around one big goal fits a fullback who gets the whole flank pushing forward together. Goalkeeping is the surprise second best mark on his card, and keeper is his next best spot, which makes sense for someone whose videos so often come down to one person holding out against everyone else. His channel grew into the most subscribed on YouTube, so pressure and attention will not faze him.

Shooting is the weak spot, which hardly matters for a fullback whose job is to supply. Winger is another fallback that suits his dribbling if you need more attack. Pair him with an inverted winger who drifts inside and leaves him the whole touchline, and draft him in the middle rounds as a fullback who will run all day.
