Football card gifts for 2026, by budget

For a football fan, give a box from this season's NFL sets: a Value Box or hanger under $25 or under $50, a mega box under $100, or a hobby box for $100 and up. This year's boxes carry rookie cards of Cam Ward, Travis Hunter, Ashton Jeanty. For a fan of one player, his rookie card makes the most personal gift. Every pick below is a real NFL product with its budget tier, and every name opens the store that sells it.

Budget tiers use typical retail as of October 18, 2026; prices change.

Three things to know before you buy

  • Match the sport and the team they follow; a rookie card of their favorite player is the most personal pick.
  • Retail boxes (Value Boxes, hangers, blasters and megas) are sold in big stores. Hobby boxes are sold through card shops and the makers' own sites.
  • Add penny sleeves and a toploader or one-touch case, so the best card in the box has somewhere safe to go.
