How much does card grading cost? PSA and CGC fees for 2026

PSA's cheapest open tier, Standard, costs $59.99 a card for cards up to $1,000, with 90 to 100 business days estimated; CGC's Economy costs $20 a card for cards up to $1,000, about 90 business days. The tier you pay is set by the card's declared value and how fast you want it back. Both tables below were read on 2026-10-17, each from the grader's own pages, with how it was read beside it. Beckett and SGC

Beckett took its site partly offline on Sep 9 2026 and has been reopening its grading services in phases, per its own status page. Its fee page could not be read on our check date.

SGC changed its service levels on Sep 2 2026. Its pricing page renders in script and gave our reader no text, so its fees are linked rather than quoted.

What adds to the bill

  • Declared value: each tier has a ceiling, and a card declared above it goes in a higher tier.
  • Shipping and insurance both ways, which the grader adds at checkout.
  • Speed: faster tiers cost more for the same card.
  • Membership: some graders discount fees for paying members (CGC says up to 20%).
