Common questions

  • When is the NFL trade deadline in 2026?

Tuesday, Nov 10, 4pm ET, the Tuesday after Week 9. That deadline is for NFL clubs. Your fantasy league sets its own trade deadline in its settings, and most fall later, before the fantasy playoffs in Weeks 15 to 17.

  • How are the buy-low and sell-high players chosen?

Every player worth at least 15 on the trade value chart, not listed out or doubtful, is placed by how many fantasy points his remaining opponents allow a game to his position, Weeks 7 to 17. Buy is the softest 8 schedules of 32 at the position, sell the toughest 8, each list highest value first.

  • Why the schedule and not recent points?

The chart already values each player at his median weekly projection for every game he has left. What it does not price is who those games are against. A player facing soft defenses is worth more than his chart value, and one facing tough defenses less, so that is where a trade can gain.

  • Where do the defense numbers come from?

Fantasy points each defense has allowed a game to the position this season, blended with last season while this season's sample is short. The same numbers back the matchup line on every start or sit page.
