Week 6 waiver wire targets ranked by Week 5 usage: Dameon Pierce and Woody Marks lead, and the adds to skip
Week 6 waiver claims ranked by the share of targets and carries each player drew in Week 5, with Sleeper's 48 hour add counts. Dameon Pierce and Woody Marks took 69% and 71% of their teams' carries, while Darius Cooper, added 921,886 times, drew 3 targets.

Rank the claims by work, then look at the adds
Sleeper's trending list counts adds across Sleeper leagues in the last 48 hours. It measures attention, and attention follows touchdowns faster than roles. So the order below comes from Week 5 work first, then the reason that share should hold in Week 6, and only then the adds.
Every player was checked against Sleeper's player file for team, position, depth chart and injury designation, and every Week 5 number was checked against the ESPN box score. Cincinnati, Detroit, Miami and Minnesota are on a bye in Week 6, which removes Samaje Perine (143,476 adds) from consideration this week. Team defenses and kickers are left off.

The top four, and why
Dameon Pierce, Eagles. The 3.2 points hide the clearest backfield role on the wire. In his first game of the season Pierce played 48 of Philadelphia's 62 offensive snaps (77%), took 11 of the backs' 16 carries and drew 5 targets. He ran for 14 yards in the loss at Jacksonville, which is why he is a claim for volume, not efficiency. Saquon Barkley is listed Out with a hamstring injury, Tank Bigsby is on injured reserve, and Will Shipley has a partial tear of his plantar fascia that could cost him multiple weeks, according to an ESPN source on Monday. Sleeper's depth chart has Pierce second, behind Barkley. Philadelphia hosts Carolina.
Woody Marks, Texans. Marks took 15 of Houston's 21 running back carries and 56 of 66 snaps (85%), and David Montgomery, who had the other 5 carries, is now listed Out with a groin injury. Marks is first on Sleeper's depth chart. Our Week 6 RB board has him 14th, and Jacksonville ranks 31st against running backs, the second-most points allowed. If he is free in your league, he is the safer weekly start of the two. Houston plays at Jacksonville on Sunday morning, 9:30 AM ET.
Germie Bernard, Steelers. Bernard drew 9 of Pittsburgh's 30 targets (30%), led the team, and played 55 of 60 snaps. Roman Wilson is expected to miss multiple weeks with a finger injury (ESPN source, Monday) and is listed Out on Sleeper. The caution is that Bernard's target counts by week are 0, 8, 1, 2 and 9, so this is a claim on a role that has only just opened. Pittsburgh plays at Tampa Bay.
Brenton Strange, Jaguars. Two straight weeks of 8 targets: 35% of Jacksonville's targets in Week 4 and 22% in Week 5, when he caught 7 for 68 yards on 58 of 72 snaps. He is sixth on our Week 6 TE board, and Houston ranks 27th against tight ends, the sixth-most points allowed. At a position where most waiver options draw two or three looks, that is the profile to want.
The middle of the list
MarShawn Lloyd, Packers. Second in adds at 1,818,198, almost all of it from two short touchdowns. His 10 carries were 43% of Green Bay's, he played 27 of 61 snaps (44%), and Pierre Strong (5 carries, 4 targets) and Kaleb Johnson (7 carries) split the rest. Josh Jacobs has not played this season and carries a personal designation on Sleeper. Lloyd's carry counts by week are 13, 6, 4, 7 and 10. Our board has him 16th among backs against Dallas on Sunday night, and Dallas ranks 7th, the seventh-fewest points allowed. He is the starter on the depth chart, not the workhorse.
Efton Chism, Patriots. His targets have climbed every week he has played: 1, 2, 4, 6. The 6 led New England in a 45-17 win over Las Vegas, on 57 of 75 snaps. New England hosts the Jets.
Kendrick Bourne, Cardinals. Eight targets (18%) on only 36 of 73 snaps (49%); his weekly targets run 8, 3, 3, 0, 8. Deep leagues only.
Kendre Miller, Saints. Ten of 17 back carries (59%) and a touchdown, but 14 of 45 snaps, fewer than CJ Donaldson's 19, with Alvin Kamara healthy. An unsettled backfield.
The adds to skip this week

| Tyler Higbee | LAR | 588,384 | 6 targets, 83 yards | 11% of targets; Puka Nacua drew 24 |
| Kimani Vidal | LAC | 535,995 | 8 carries, 57 yards, 1 TD | 29% of carries; one 42 yard run |
| Keon Coleman | BUF | 190,548 | 2 targets, 1 catch, 7 yards | Two targets with DJ Moore listed Out |
| Blake Corum | LAR | 149,144 | 5 carries, 3 catches, 53 yards | Kyren Williams had 16 carries and 8 targets |

Raheim Sanders (124,656 adds) is on injured reserve. Cooper's targets by week are 0, 3, 0, 7 and 3; with DeVonta Smith listed Out, Dontayvion Wicks (8) and Makai Lemon (7) drew Philadelphia's receiver work.
Quarterbacks for the bye week
The byes take out Joe Burrow, Jared Goff, Malik Willis and Kyler Murray. The quarterbacks being added, with Week 5 lines and five-week PPR averages:
- Matthew Stafford, Rams: 40 of 54 for 383 yards and 3 TD, 27.3 points; 19.0 per game. Hosts Arizona, which ranks 4th against quarterbacks, the fourth-fewest points allowed.
- Kirk Cousins, Raiders: 19 of 28 for 243 yards and 1 TD, 13.7 points; 19.3 per game. Hosts Buffalo.
- C.J. Stroud, Texans: 26 of 34 for 261 yards, 1 passing TD and 1 rushing TD, 20.9 points; 17.8 per game. Ninth on our Week 6 QB board, at Jacksonville.
- Aaron Rodgers, Steelers: 22 of 31 for 235 yards and 3 TD, 22.0 points; 17.4 per game, and 22 or more in each of the last three weeks. At Tampa Bay.
What to do with this
- File the claims in share order: Pierce and Marks first, then Bernard and Strange. Price bids with the FAAB guide rather than the add counts.
- Watch Wednesday's practice reports for Barkley, Montgomery and Jacobs. Each one changes the value of a back on this list, and Sleeper's default waiver run clears early Wednesday, before Thursday's Seattle at Denver game.
- Skip the touchdown adds in the table above, and check the Week 6 rankings before you start anyone you claim.
