What is in 2026 Topps Chrome Football
- The base set has 400 cards: 300 veterans numbered 1 to 300 and 100 rookie cards numbered 301 to 400. [1]
- Two formats are listed so far: a Hobby box of 20 four-card packs with one autograph per box, and a First Day Issue (FDI) Jumbo box of 12 eleven-card packs with three autographs per box. [1]
- Molten Mercury parallels are found only in First Day Issue boxes. [1]
- The First Day Issue presale opened October 16, 2026 by Dutch auction, and Topps hobby presales were expected to open October 19, 2026; those are presale dates, not release dates. [1]
- Autograph sections include Base Variation Autographs, Rookie Variation Autographs, 1991 Topps Autographs, Chrome Legends Autographs, Hall of Chrome Autographs, Future Stars Autographs, Dual Autographs, Ring of Honor Autographs, Tecmo Autographs and a Retail Rookie Autographs set. [1]
- Every base card has Lightboard Logo and Team Camo variations; the full parallel list was not published yet, with a Refractor-based rainbow and a one-of-one SuperFractor expected. [1]
- Inserts announced include returning Chrome sets Helix, Radiating Rookies, Ultra Violet, Kaiju, Tecmo and Game Genies, plus new sets Glass Canvas, Madden 99 Club and Super Bowl at Night. [1]
- The 2025 edition of Topps Chrome Football did not arrive until April 15, 2026, so the 2026 edition lands during the season instead of after it. [1]
