NBA depth charts 2026-27

Every NBA team's starting five and first man off the bench for 2026-27, ordered by the starts and minutes each player got in his team's last 5 preseason games, not a listed chart. 30 of 30 teams have a full five on file; each team's page has the whole rotation, injuries and minutes trend.

How these depth charts are ordered

Each chart reads the team's last 5 games of the newest kind it has played: preseason games until its first regular season game, then regular season games only. The starting five are the players who started the largest share of the games they played, the newest games counting most and minutes breaking a tie, listed point guard to center.

Everyone else is ordered by minutes per game played in the window. 12 or more minutes per game in at least half the team's games is the rotation; the rest is the bench. The last games column shows each game's minutes, with a dot for a game he did not play.

Designations come from the day's NBA injury report. Players who logged no minutes in the window are listed apart with last season's minutes per game, so an injured starter never drops off his team's chart.

Common questions

  • How are these NBA depth charts ordered?

Each chart reads the team's last 5 games of the newest kind it has played: preseason games until its first regular season game, then regular season games only. • Do these depth charts use preseason or regular season games?

Preseason games for now. Each team's chart switches to regular season games alone after its first regular season game, so a preseason minute never counts toward an October rotation.

  • Whose minutes moved most in the latest games?

Jalen Slawson (IND) played 33 minutes in his last game, 18 more than in his earlier games of the window.
