The board ranks every player per game, which assumes he plays. Games missed are the most common way an early pick fails a fantasy team, so a short season is the flag to weigh first; age makes the next missed stretch more likely. A career-best jump from a veteran is the softest flag. Before you take a flagged power forward, check the NBA injury report and the players around him in the power forward rankings, and look at the PF sleepers for the other end of the position.
